To whom this may concern:

I am writing you in reference to Bryan Kastl who has been my massage therapist for the last 8 years. I originally went to Bryan when I did not get relief after seeing an Orthopedic surgeon and a physical therapist for chronic back pain. I had daily pain that affected my ability to sleep, exercise and do the things that I enjoyed doing for almost one year. A few weeks after starting weekly deep tissue massage therapy my back pain improved and eventually went away completely. I was able to return to my regular activities without discomfort and my flexibility greatly improved. I continued to see Bryan twice a month for the next 7 years in order to maintain my pain free state and improved flexibility. I also must say that I went to see him also because he is such a nice, kind, real person that you don’t meet that often.

I was so impressed with my results and with Bryan and his skill that I referred many friends and patients with a variety of aches, pains, and injuries including the Orthopedist I started with who became a client of Bryans. Invariably, Bryan helped them and made them comfortable again and able to do the activities they enjoyed without pain. Many of them became long-term clients of his as well and thanked me for the referral to another “healer”.

I cannot recommend anyone more highly for professionalism and outstanding skill as well as great personal attributes as Bryan. You are truly fortunate to have Bryan in your community.

Yours truly,

Ed Becker, M.D.

Coach B has seriously changed my life! He started off as just my coworker at my old CrossFit gym, but then became MY coach and friend in only a short amount of time ! He’s guided me to become a better athlete and a coach of my own, and I don’t think I would be a competitive powerlifter or start my own coaching business if it wasn’t for him. I feel like I can tackle daily activities because his programming focuses on longevity and feeling good everyday! Thank you so much coach B for all your knowledge, customized programming, deep tissue work and supporting me as an athlete these past few years. The most knowledgeable man in the field I tell ya!

Ashlyn Barbieri

Like a ton of people in the US, I've been sheltering in place and almost 100% confined to my house for just over six weeks. For that whole time, I've been getting daily custom workouts from Bryan at Kastl Strength Systems. Working with Bryan has helped me stay fit, continue working toward my performance goals and, most importantly, maintain my motivation and sense of wellness despite all of the turmoil in the world right now. And even though all of the workout gear I own literally fits into one legal-sized bankers box, Bryan has kept the workouts refreshingly varied and fun. He has been extremely responsive to my questions and, when necessary, has motivated me to keep going when things start to feel too much. More than six weeks, into this lock-in, I'm feeling stronger, more fit, more flexible, and more limber than before, when we could go wherever we wanted. It's truly fitness for living.

For example, this morning I spent three hours crawling around in my attic organizing all the stuff we have up there and cleaning up old rat nests (don't judge!). Out of 1300 square feet of attic spaces, there's only about a 10'x10' patch where you can stand up straight. The rest was squatting and crawling through fiberglass batting from joist to joist while lugging a Shopvac behind me. All while wearing a face mask. In the past, the heat and all that crouching would have me giving up after 15 minutes or lying flat on my back for the next few days. Instead, and thanks to Bryan's coaching, it felt almost easy; a celebration of all the hard work we've put in together since March.
